Job Purpose
The responsibly of a public relation officer in Sundus would be to typically manage end to end PR & comms & admin related things including Media relation, Corporate communication, Social media and Brand image Management, Event Management and Community Engagement for the organisation. The responsibilities collectively contribute to building and maintaining a positive public image for the organization and fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders. The person should be self-motivated passionate about the job should ensure everything is complained with company policies and relevant laws in media and public relation management for Sundus and Masadir as a whole organization.
Key Performance Areas
- Media Relations:
- Implement Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with different media channels, and media outlets.
- Creating and helping in Drafting contents for distribution and social media or press releases, media advisories, and other relevant materials.
- Respond to all form of media inquiries keeping the Brand image of the organisation in mind and enhance it.
- Brand Management:
- Collaborate and work closely with the marketing team to align public relations efforts with overall marketing strategies keeping the Brand management in mind,
- Ensure alignment between public relations and branding efforts.
- Support marketing campaigns with PR initiatives to maximize impact.
- Protect and enhance the organization's brand by maintaining consistency in messaging and visual elements.
- Events and Social Media Management:
- Work closely with the management and Plan, organize, and execute public relations events, such as press conferences, and promotional activities.
- Co ordinate and manage media attendance and ensure a positive public response.
- Oversee and manage the organization's presence on social media platforms.
- Develop engaging content, monitor online conversations, and respond to comments or inquiries.
- Corporate Communications:
- Ensure Create content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, emails, and announcements.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote a positive public image of the organization.
- Community Engagement & Legal Compliance Management:
- Develop and implement community engagement programs to enhance Sundus’s reputation within local communities.
- Promotion of CSR activities.
- Ensure that all public relations activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Ensure confidentiality of all the company internal information and data before releasing in media.
- Knowledge:
- Required Skills:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in public relations or a related field.
- A solid understanding of various media channels, including traditional print, broadcast, and digital media.
- Awareness of current trends and changes in the media landscape.
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to public relations activities, including defamation laws, privacy issues, and codes of conduct.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to leverage them effectively for communication and brand building.
- Knowledge and understanding of the industry trends, competitors, and relevant issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
